Richard Tesarik - Hummingbird XL

An amazingly beautiful and striking work of art from the very talented Richard Tesarik. This liner locking folder features a Nickel Carbon Damascus blade fashioned by Richard, the blade has wonderful carving and German Silver inlays, it opens via ambidextrous Damascus thumb studs with "Onyx Eye" inlays, the carved bolsters are Damascus with the continuing theme of German Silver inlays, the scales are waves of Ebony, Mammoth and Silver with the continued theme of carving and the addition of pique work featuring silver pins, the back spacer is also carved and inside it is marked "R.Tesarik - 2018 -". This knife was an obvious labor of love by the maker. I received this knife new from Richard and it has been a safe queen in my collection that I am only now letting it go to make room for other additions to the collection. I have had several pieces from Richard over the years and I believe this to be the best!

Richard Tesarik is from the Czech Republic. For several years he attended only one show in the U.S each year, Blade, until the pandemic. Richard has since limited his shows to ones in Europe, His knives are difficult to come by, but a joy once acquired.
