This is a Back Pocket model from Mike Zscherny. This slip joint features a hand rubbed satin finished blade of CPM154CM steel, half stop and a pull of approx. 6 1/2 or 7 on a 10-pt. scale, the scales are Stag, nicely matched side to side, the bolsters and Waterfall shield are 416ss with a satin finish, the rear pins are spun. Mike Zscherny has been making knives since 1978, he has dabbled in several genres but is best known for his skill at producing lock backs and slip joints in traditional patterns. This piece is brand new direct from the maker.

  • About Mike Zscherny

    Mike Zscherny is a full time knifemaker who has been making knives since 1978. For quite some time Mike made art knives, specializing in liner lock folders using Damascus steel and natural handle materials such as pearl and ivory. A few years back Mike switched gears and started making traditional slip joint style knives, in the Bose style. Mike's star rose quickly, he become a "rock-star" with respect to this genre of knives. His fit and finish is top notch, his pieces walk and talk like they should and his waiting list is long.
