Ken Steigerwalt - Gents Art Deco Folder (Mother of Pearl)

$2,250.00Price

Offered here is an extraordinary Art Deco Folder by renowned custom knifemaker Ken Steigerwalt — a master of the Art Knife genre. This elegant lockback showcases a striking Damasteel blade paired with a refined gold tab opener, delivering both performance and visual distinction.

The stylized bolsters and frame embody Ken’s signature Art Deco aesthetic, with bold architectural lines and flowing symmetry that define his unmistakable style. The scales are an exceptional, exhibition-grade set of Mother of Pearl, displaying luminous depth and brilliance (My photography doesn’t fully capture the brilliance of the MOP, but the last two photos—taken in natural light—offer a glimpse of its depth, color, and fire). The backspacer of the knife further elevates the design with intricate file work and gold inlays, creating a luxurious presentation.

Preowned and in excellent condition, this piece represents a rare opportunity to acquire a true functional work of art from one of the genre’s most recognizable makers — equally suited for display in a serious collection or admired as a standout example of custom craftsmanship.
