Jim Dunlap - Shadow Trapper (White CamoCarbon)
This is a slip joint, shadow pattern Trapper with a clip point blade, from Jim Dunlap. This knife features a blade of CPM 154 steel with a hand rubbed satin finish, pull is around 5 on a 10-point scale. The scales are White CamoCarbon. The strength and rigidity of the Carbon Fiber allows the knife to be made without liners, so it is an extremely lightweight (approx. 1.1 oz), easy to carry and it makes for a great EDC (Everyday Carry) knife. The blade has a half stop and is flush in all positions. The fit and finish of this knives is on par with knives costing twice as much, if not more.

Jim specializes in traditional slip joint knives, from basic to multi-blade patterns and he does great file work. These shadow pattern trappers offer the best quality to cost value on the market. I have sold over 300 of them since I started carrying them in 2014, they are fantastic knives at a fantastic price point. Once you acquire one you will not be disappointed, many of my clients keep coming back to purchase more with new colors, and often to buy them as gifts. I sell many of these as the result of current owners referring their friends.
