This Texan model by Javi Garcia is a beautifully executed slipjoint, combining clean design with high-end materials and precise craftsmanship.

It features a hand-rubbed satin AEB-L blade with a crisp half stop and a smooth, controlled pull around 5/10. The blade is easily pinchable, offering a traditional feel with modern refinement.

The scales are an exceptional set of Mammoth, showcasing a striking mix of black, blue, and cream tones, each piece unique. The titanium integral bolsters and frame are finished in a subtle gray, providing both durability and a refined aesthetic. A custom Bulldog shield—Javi’s own design in CPM 154—adds a distinctive and personal touch. Titanium hardware completes the build.

    Javi Garcia is a knife maker based Texas alongside several friends and fellow makers in Jared Oeser and Enrique Pena. He, along with those two are owners of the knife company Suprlativ. First and foremost a designed, he has since become a full fledged maker under the tuteldge of his business partners who have long been in the industry. With his keen sense of design and a language for clean lines and modern focus, his work has taken off to be right alongside those whom he has worked with.
