Jason Ritchie - Rabid Dog Bone - sold
This is a Rabid Dog Bone model (a M. Saldana pattern) from Jason Ritchie d/b/a Ritchie Knives. The slip joint knife features a hollow ground, hand rubbed satin finished blade of CPM Magnacut steel, the blade was cryo cycled and tested at 64 HRC, there is a half stop, and the spring is flush in all 3 positions, it rides on a phosphor bronze bushings, pull is approx. 5 on a 10-pt scale, the blade is pinchable. Liners are 410ss milled and relieved, there is a birdseye pivot, scales are Vintage Emerald Green Paper Micarta with a Mother of Pearl shield. This piece is brand new direct from the maker at the Nashville Custom Knife Show. Jason's knives are few and far between, he doesn't accept orders and sells out quickly at shows, his knives are highly collectible and make great users.
