Jason Richie - Honk Falls Trapper - sold

This is a Honk Falls Trapper from Jason Richie D/B/A Richie Handmade Knives. This knife features a satin belt finished blade of CPM 154 steel testing out at 61 HRC, the bolsters are rounded, pins are spun and the most outstanding feature on this piece are the Vintage Sambar Stag scales with an arrow shield.
 
I have observed Richie's work on social media for quite some time. He sells most all of his knives via lottery on social media and it always seems to be gone before I even get an opportunity to enter his lotteries.  He is a part time maker and doesn't have the opportunity to make as many knives as he would like.  I was finally able to check out one of his knives in the metal, he was walking around at the 2023 CCKS (California Custom Knife Show) and, knowing who I was, offered up this knife for my inspection.  I bought it, so here it is new direct from the maker.
