Daniel Keown - Imperial Trapper (Stag)
This exceptional Imperial Trapper slip joint is a fine example of Daniel Keown’s craftsmanship. It features a Spey blade in AEB-L steel, finished with a flawless hand-rubbed satin polish. The blade showcases a long pull, a distinctive grind, and a smooth, pinchable action with a pull of approx. 5 on a 10pt. scale.
The polished bolsters frame a beautifully matched set of Sambar Stag scales, exhibiting rich texture and character on both sides. Spun pins and Daniel’s signature stylized Federal Shield complete the look, adding a touch of refinement and maker identity.
This piece is brand new, direct from the maker, and represents Daniel Keown’s original design—a perfect blend of traditional form and contemporary execution.
