Jose (Pepe) Jalomo, Jr., is a retired Training/ Tactical Sergeant having served 31 years with the Laredo Police Department. Pepe is now a full time knifemaker.  Pepe’s knifemaking career came about after continuous encouragement and tutoring from his good friend and great knifemaker, Enrique Peña.  Bill Ruple also played a part in Pepe’s tutelage. Pepe specializes in traditional style slip joints often using none traditional materials.
