Tom Overeynder - Gents Folder Engraved by RayCover Jr.
This Tom Overeynder slip joint folder is his Model 7 featuring beautiful ancient mammoth scales with touches of brown and tan coloring, the sculpted bolster engraved by Master Engraver Ray Cover Jr., the blade is Hubbard SS Damascus, his x-fine ladder pattern riding on aluminum bronze bushings, a 416 ss frame, domed pins, half stop, the pull is about a 5 1/2 to 6 on a 10 point scale, the back spacer is flush in all three positions, the fit and finish on this piece is second to none as we have come to expect from any knife by Tom Overeynder. This is serial #001 and was new from Tom to me many years ago and has been in my collection, I am now offering it up for another to enjoy. Tom is one of the preeminent art knife makers on the scene today, his knives have won numerous awards and the engraving puts this piece over the top. This will make a great addition to any collection or an exceptional piece for carry to show off to your friends.

There was a hairline repaired by Tom with cyanoacrylate, it is invisible to the naked eye and cannot be felt. Tom states that it is stable, and he is confident it will maintain its integrity. This is reflexed in the price.
