  • About Tom Mayo

Tom Mayo has been making knives since 1981; however, his interest in knives began when he was a young boy. His grandfather, an avid hunter and fisherman, was always giving him pocketknives as birthday or Christmas gifts. A bit older, Tom picked up a Sports Illustrated with Bob Loveless on the cover and that started him on the road to making his own knives. Initially he made Loveless style knives, and then he began making Randall style knives, especially clip point and trailing point knives. Tom now has a style all to his own and has a large following of collectors and users seeking out his knives. When Tom posts up a knife as available on the web it sells within minutes and when at shows his knives sell via lottery.
