Reese Bose - Remington R1613 Fisherman Bullet Knife (Prototype) - sold
This is a very rare Remington R1613 Fisherman Bullet Knife from Reese Bose. This slip joint Fisherman Knife is Reese's Prototype, "0", it features a hand rubbed satin finished blade of ATS-34 steel, rounded bolsters with polished finishes, the scales are Remington Bone and, an interesting aspect of this knife, is the rear bolster, which has a notch cut into it, this is a hook disgorger, to help remove the hook from the mouth of a trout, the frame and bullet shield are 416 Stainless Steel. This piece has been in my collection for years and is in mint condition. The terms rare and grail are often over used but this knife truly fits the bill, it will become a highlight in any collection of Bose, Remington Bullet, fishing or slip joint knives.
