John Barker - Intrinsic - sold

This piece is an Intrinsic model from John Barker. This frame locking flipper features a blade of Baker Forge "IceStorm" San Mai Damascus* comprised of multiple layers of Damascus and Nickel in a Chevron pattern with a core of 80crv2 steel (80crv2 knife steel provides a cutting tool with extreme toughness and edge retention), There is jimping on the spine to aid in a positive grip, the presentation side of the handle is Zirconium with multiple speed holes, the rear is Titanium with a blasted finish, the pivot is also Zirconium, the custom tip up pocket clip is Titanium finished to match the rear scale, the back-spacer is also Titanium finished to match, and the screws are blackened. This is a beautiful knife pre-owned but in like new condition, it came from the 2023 NOCKI.

* From the Baker Forge website: "IceStorm" pattern is the elegant stepchild of our other pattern, FireStorm. The idea being we take out all the copper and swap it with PURE nickel! By stacking 25-layer Damascus with the nickel shims and repeating over and over, we achieved a super cool looking pattern with TONS of character. This layout takes a pattern really well and finishes up VERY nicely with lots of opportunity for major chatoyancy action!
