Carter/NCC Collaboration - MK1-RC - sold
This piece is a collaboration between Robert Carter and NCC Knives (Nick Chuprin) MK1 - RC. This frame locking flipper features a Nitro V blade (Nitro-V is a stainless steel, based on AEB-L, but with the addition of nitrogen and Vanadium – which gives it increased toughness, hardness and corrosion resistance) with an acid washed finish and a modified compound Tanto grind (reminiscent of a Robert Carter F16 blade), the frame is solid Titanium with an OD Green anodized finish, chamfered edges and a finger choil for improved handling, the pivot has beautiful details and a Zirconium and Copper collar, the back spacer, hardware and custom tip up pocket clip are Zirconium, both maker’s marks are on the blade and a lanyard hole tops off this package. I understand that there were around 30 or so of these knives produced and all were unique depending on the options. This piece is brand new from the makers at the USN Gathering.
