Here is a Brad Southard's "hot" frame locking Daws model. Brad names his knives after authors whose works have made an impact on him, Daws is for the author Dawson Trautman. This knife features a blade of CPM-S30V at RC 60 with a hand rubbed finish, an Orange Peel finished Titanium bolster,a blue/black G10 textured scale and back-spacer, tip up carry clip, the ambidextrous thumb-studs, the thumb rest on the spine and the back-spacer have been textured to match. Brad is relatively new on the knife-making scene having made his first complete knife in 2008. Brad's background in industrial design seems to be serving him well as a knifemaker, I predict he will become a much sought after maker.
