Brad Southard - AWT

Status - Sold

Here is a new Brad Southard model, the AWT. Brad names his knives after authors whose works have made an impact on him, AWT is for the author A.W. Tozer. This is a frame-lock flipper utilizing the IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System), the blade is CPM-S30V at RC 60 with a hand rubbed finish, the scale is carved red/black G10 (fyi - the red is hard to discern), back-spacer is decorated black G10, the Titanium frame and pocket-clip have Brad's "distressed oxidized" finish, the pocket-clip is set for tip up carry. Ambidextrous thumb-studs offer a second option for opening, the thumb-studs, flipper lever and the thumb rest on the spine are decorated to match the back-spacer finish and there is a lanyard hole. A lot going on here at a great price. Brad is relatively new on the knife-making scene having made his first complete knife in 2008. Brad's background in industrial design seems to be serving him well as a knife-maker, I predict he will become a much sought after maker.
