Custom John W Smith folder. John W. Smith is an amazingly talented knife maker, he is a Member of the Knifemakers Guild and a member of the prestigious AKI (Art Knife Invitational) group and has received many awards for his work. John’s pieces are sole authorship, he does it all and he does it well. This knife features a blade and bolsters that are hot blued the bolsters are a mosaic "W" pattern and the blade is a ladder cut 32 bar parquet pattern, the scales are Presentation Grade Mother of Pearl that John has file worked in a quilted pattern, there are 18k gold strips decorating the bolsters, the thumb stud is 18k gold the screws are gold, liners are file-worked 6AL-4V titanium, jeweled and anodized and the spine of the knife is file worked. A rare and beautiful piece of art.
