This is a John Smith Utility Dagger, the first of these he has done with a Mother of Pearl escutcheon inlay. This particular knife features a CPM-154CM hand polished blade, ceramic blasted 6AL-4V Titanium bolsters, frame and clip, and polished50 year old brown canvas Micarta and bead blasted spacer of the same material. This stuff is kind of like fossil Walrus Ivory, every piece differs in color. You can't find this type of Micarta anymore but John has a stash of it! John Smith is recognized as one of the best knifemakers in the business. He produces stunning Art Knives and incredibly well put together tactical knives. John is a member of the prestigious AKI (Art Knife Invitational), his knives are sole authorship from the Damascus to the engraving to the spectacular pearl inlay and carving. This is an opportunity to acquire a great knife with a unique cool looking handle at a good price.
