Krypto-lites are cool, what can I say. I have one on my keyring so I can locate it in the dark. Here is the technical stuff; made from 3/8" solid round 303 Stainless Steel stock that is individually turned, milled and perforated. The Krypto-lite is 1 7/16" long. The top and bottom are cut at a 90 degree angle and hand polished to a reflective finish. The top post is cross drilled to accommodate a split ring and the body is vertically drilled to accommodate the trit vial. This Krypto-lite contains a blue tritium vial. The vials are at maximum pressure which gives them an incredibly bright glow and a long life. All holes in the Krypto-lite are individually sealed using Norland 61 optical grade adhesive which is known for its 100% clarity and impact resistantce. Each piece is then UV baked no less than 30 minutes to ensure that it is fully cured. The Norland allows 100% of the light to escape but prevents anything from intruding into the center cavity and damaging the vial.
