This is a one-of-a-kind art knife by Joe Kious. Joe made this knife for Barrett-Smythe Galleries, he calls this style knife a "Window Knife" because of the clear quartz crystal set over the engraved inlayed plate. Though Joe did several Window Knives he confirmed for me that this particular design is a one-of-a-kind. The Italian engraver Giacomo Badillini, now deceased, was known for his work on high-end shotguns and art knives. The engraving on the side with the short feather is of European Quail and on the side with the long feather the engraving is a Pheasant. This masterpiece will make a fine addition to any collection.
