Emile Drouhin is an old school French knife maker. He is best known for his elegant Tortoise shell knives, especially small unusually shaped multi-blade knives. His knife making legacy is not being passed on to a next generation and, being that he is in his 80's, there are not going to be many more of these gems becoming available. This round six-blade knife is his most famous and sought after design. This beautiful handmade Tortoise shell knife contains a serrated main blade, a plain edged blade, tweezers, nail file, bottle opener/cap lifter and scissors. The handles are made of genuine tortoise shell and the knife comes with its CITES certificate verifying it is legal tortoise shell. The knife also features a small 4 3/4" silver safety chain. Blades are ATS34, fittings are 416SS
