Bret Dowell is a new maker, he's made a number of fixed blade knives and made his first folder within the past year. This is Brett's Clip Point blade Trapper slipjoint model featuring Ancient Mammoth Ivory scales, pinched bolsters, a stylish swedge on the ATS 34 blade, 416 SS liners, fittings and Federal shield. This knife has great walk & talk and it serial# 04 (Brett numbers the first 5 knives of any pattern he does. I like what I see from Bret and believe his work will continue to improve and that his knives will become very sought after....he already has a several months waiting list.
