Bret Dowell Custom Slipjoint. Bret Dowell is a relatively new maker, he's made a number of fixed blade knives and made his first folder within the past couple of years. This is Bret's Trapper slipjoint model featuring a clip point blade, Carbon Fiber scales, a stylish swedge on the ATS 34 blade, 416 SS liners, fittings and Federal shield. This knife has s half stop, great walk & talk. I like what I see from Bret and believe his work will continue to improve and that his knives will become very sought after....he already has a wait list of close to a year.
