Bob Lum Custom. Knifemaker and designer Bob Lum was known for his ability to integrate good design, ergonomics and high quality materials to create quality custom knives. One of the custom knife models Bob was best know for is the Chinese. Consulting with an authority on Bob and his knives I have learned the following; This model is the Extra Small Chinese Folder, it is a very early example, probably from the early 90's. More interesting is that it is a slipjoint. Bob made, possibly, around 30 slipjoints in his career, this may be the only one ever done in stag. This knife features a hand ground and polished blade (probably of ATS34), Stag scales and a lanyard hole. these knives sold for around $600 from Bob. An exceptional and historic piece for any Lum collection.
